The Executive Inn, a premium hotel brand required a new design for their hotel in Dhaka. The interior design needed to be a top hotel design in Bangladesh for the brand. The design consisted of coming up with a calming and relaxing space in the rooms, and this was achieved by using an off white color scheme paired with dark brown.
The rooms used off white as the wall color, which was also replicated on the bed and bedside units. A work desk in white on the side allowed guests a spacious setting to work in. The simple design used floating furniture and cabinets throughout to allow a clean visual feel to the space and give an airy feeling to the room. A large area rug in dark brown was chosen to add to the comfort of the room. An armchair in brown and white continued the color scheme along with curtains in brown for the windows. Large paintings above the bed showed scenes in nature, allowing a sense of tranquility to wash over the tired guests.
Full length mirrors on the wall near the washroom created a beautiful dressing area that was bathed in natural light from the window and reflected through the mirror. A wall mounted TV with a floating TV stand in bright yellow ensured that the design is not monotonous and created a cheery addition to the room.
